What counts as a duplicate
A duplicate is a local comparison result, not a claim that two pages are identical in every meaningful way. Canonical URL, normalized URL, text, and content-hash checks provide evidence for the match, while the user remains in control of the final action.
Why clean locally first
Deduplicating before a NotebookLM import keeps the source set smaller and easier to audit. It also lets you recover the original source record if an import or connection attempt is interrupted.
